Sentence structure

  • Request for fruit: 我要苹果 （I want an apple.） 
  • Statement for the food: 我爱吃水果/苹果/香蕉。。(I love to eat fruit/apples/bananas/...)。 
  • Inquiry for the favourite food: 你/他/她爱吃什么水果？（What fruit do you/does he/does she love to eat?）
  • Turning the preceding sentence into a question: 我爱吃苹果，你呢？ （I like to eat apples. How about you?）
