SENTENCES 

  1. wǒ/nǐ shì／jiào ...  (I am/you are....or My/Your name is...)
  2. tā shì wǒ de bàba/māma. (He is my dad/She is my mum.)
  3. wǒ xiǎng yào qù shàng cè suǒ ，xíng bù xíng ？(I want to go to the toilet, may I?)
  4. wǒ kě bù kě yǐ chī bǐng gān. (Can I have a cookie, please?)

（＊when there are tones on the top of "i", we have to take the dot away from "i", for example, ī、í、ǐ、ì.)
